Mark 5 ²⁵A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. ²⁶She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. ²⁷When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, ²⁸because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." ²⁹Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.        

Luke 8:43-48 ⁴³As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. ⁴⁴She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. ⁴⁵"Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you." ⁴⁶But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me." ⁴⁷Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. ⁴⁸Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

Matthew 9 ²⁰Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. ²¹She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." ²²Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.

Instruction: Jesus Christ, God's only Son, was walking and was sooo much wanted by the crowds, that they were squeezing in on Him at all sides. In fact, the crowds almost crushed Him. There was a woman who had suffered for 12 years and the doctors only made her worse. She wanted to be healed. Being a woman in those days, she was not allowed near Jesus, the Teacher. He was too important, and she was low class, especially since she was bleeding. But she was persistent and determined. She shoved and pushed herself in through the crowd to be near Jesus. She must have had tremendous faith and hope in Jesus, for she kept on saying to herself, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." When she touched Jesus' cloak, Jesus knew it. He didn't know who did it, but He said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me." Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering."

        Will you call on Jesus right now to make good out of your messes, to heal your heart that has been broken by people, make your mind clean from what it is now? Will you push through the things that are crowding Him out of your life, and persist and persevere to reach His cloak in faith, trusting that if you are in a tangible relationship with Jesus Christ, your life will be better? Then simply ask Jesus. Jesus, You alone are able to make me whole. I have tried many things on my own, and I come up empty and worse off than I started. I come to You in my brokenness, my bleeding life and heart. I ask You to heal me. Jesus Christ, I ask You to touch me where I need Your touch, to be real and tangible to me, healing me and changing my life. Jesus, I know You are God, and that You died on the cross to take away all my wrong doings. Please forgive me for what I have done, and the messes I have made. Thank You for forgiving me, for You promise me that "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Ps 103:11,12 "says the LORD, 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.'" Isa 1:18 Jesus I surrender control of my life over to you. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and teach me Your ways that I may lead a life pleasing to you. I praise You for what You will do in me. I ask You to have my life glorify you!! Thank You for Your love, and thank You for making me Your child!     Bring me to: New beginnings!
