God has given many good things to man.  God has given us Nature, our physical senses, and our ability for Joy and Pleasure.  God has created all these things for one Reason: 

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.  Romans 1:20 

            The Lord God Almighty is a Personal God Who seeks a Personal Relationship with you.  God has created you with a hole in your heart that is GOD sized.  For all of your life you will seek to fill that hole until it is completely filled with the Presence of the One and only Loving, All-knowing, All-powerful God of the Universe.  God wants your friendship on His Loving and extended terms. 

    When we take the gifts that God has given to us and use them for our pleasure and seek the gifts for our pleasure More Than Seeking and Sustaining our Relationship with the Giver of those gifts, Who is the Lord God Almighty, then there is a built in "shut off pleasure valve" which causes us pain.  

        Substances used not as the Lord intended, AND treating others like a substance, shown by Not treating others as the Lord God intends, And being treated by others as a substance which is Not as God intends for us to be treated: 

All cause us pain, depression, heart-brokenness, and hardship.  The using of the gifts more than Inter-Acting in True Love with the Giver proves itself by the painful signs in our body, mind, heart, and most of all soul. 

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

        Loneliness that you feel, that emptiness... When your soul experiences Jesus' presence, you will be fulfilled.   For only God can fill that hole in your heart that is meant for only Him.   Nothing is as substantial or as eternal as the Love that God has for you.  You may have tried to fill that emptiness with all sort of thoughts and actions, but you will always come up dry and empty, because that thirst is for God alone.  

        However,  you cannot have God's Love until you repent, or turn away from your own sins and invite God into your heart.  You see, God will never force His way into your life.  He may invite you to have a relationship with Him over and over again, but unless you say "Yes" to Him and share your life with Him and live in His friendship, you will never receive the benefits of His friendship.  

        God has given everyone free will, free choice to accept His friendship or to not accept it.  To reject God's friendship through His son Jesus Christ is to reject His Love and His free gift of eternal life that is meant for you.  For Jesus had you in mind when He was on the cross.  Jesus was carrying your sins and mine on that cross...but only if you accept that sacrifice and gift of Love will your soul and life change.  To not accept it and to not have it effect your heart and mind is to remain as you are and for your life to remain in its same mode and direction.

I want to say Yes to Jesus' invitation, Bring me to be born again.
