The "womb" is the place where you lived inside your mother before you were born.God is in charge of the womb. Genesis 20: 17,18 So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the LORD had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife. Gen 29:31 The Children of Jacob When the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren. Gen 30:22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. Gen 49:25 By the God of your father who will help you, And by the Almighty who will bless you With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb. Samuel 1:5 But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the LORD had closed her womb. Job 1:20,21 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD." Job 31: 14-15 What then shall I do when God rises up? …Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb? Job 10:3-18 …the work of your hands, …"Your hands shaped me and made me…Remember that you molded me like clay. Will you now turn me to dust again? Did you not pour me out like milk and curdle me like cheese, clothe me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews? You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. … "Why then did you bring me out of the womb? … Psalm 22: 9-10 But You are He who took Me out of the womb; You made Me
trust while on My mother's breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. From My
mother's womb You have been My God. Psalm 139 O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You. For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men! They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name. Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD, and abhor those who rise up against you? I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies.Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Ecc 11:5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. Isaiah 44:2, 24 Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the
womb, Who will help you: … Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who
formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who
stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; Hosea 9:14 Give them, O LORD-- What will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb And dry breasts! Luke 1:44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, |
