"I am going through financial, medical, relationship problems."

Thank you for writing to us.  Your words are a blessing to us!

We encourage you to continue to ….

Trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5,6 ) placing your full emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical weight upon Him.  Confess any and all sins God brings to your mind (1 John 1:9) and He will remove them from His sight.  Be faithful to the Living God above all.  God rewards His faithful children (1 Samuel 26:23).  Seek His Face and Wisdom in all situations, and He will give you His wisdom generously without finding fault (James 1:5).  Seek His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven above all, and all that you need will be given to you.  Ask, seek and knock and He will give you more of His Holy Spirit.  Be careful to pray God’s Will and His Word, so that you will receive what you ask (James 4:2,3)  Continue to walk by faith.  Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

Trust and abide in God’s Word, and take courage.  Be bold and courageous and your God goes before you since He is your portion and shield, and very sure reward (Genesis 15:1).

We hope that NeedHope.Net has blessed you in some way.  Your encouragement greatly blessed us, and is appreciated!  Thank YOU!!  God loves you more than any person can. His love is an Everlasting Love.

Everlasting Love ~ Broken Hearted ~ Come to Me ~ Cast Your Cares

"I just want to be more of what God would have me be."

Thank you for your letter.  We have been praying and will continue to pray for your strength, encouragement, and to see God's Hand in your life and thoughts daily.  Only as we walk with Jesus, the Lord, conscious of His presence and keeping in our mind His thoughts, louder than the world's ideas, will we be able to see His victory.  You may want to see our other website www.NeedHope.Net

We will also pray for your 2 children, that they would know Jesus and be His best friend, as He is theirs (whether they know it or not).   Congratulations that your first born is in their second year of college!  You taught them to use their gifts well!!

We are proud of you!  We are grateful for your loyalty and love for the King of kings and Lord of Lords, the fully God and fully man Lord Jesus Christ.  We are proud of the priorities you have, the challenges you face head on and succeed in many of them.  (You may ask, "How would you know?"   It is because if you are asking for prayer, in the way that you are, then your heart, will, and mind is in Christ Jesus, and He is pleased!!! - which is the most important!!)

While you may suppose that many of the things you want/need are not met for yourself or your children, God may be saying otherwise.  When I was younger, I too had many responsibilities (and I still do).  While I was depressed with unmet desires and "requirements" which I had set up for myself, God showed me that some of the things I thought were my "expectations" and were not His expectations.  Even though I wanted what would be shown in His Word to be good things, they were not in His timing for me now (or for a very long while).  When I let go of some of them, I was free to accept and rejoice in what I already had, no matter how meager the world might say it was.  My children's relationship, the sunshiny day, the warm winter so my heating bills are less, the lower priced sales in the supermarket, the health that I do have, the kind words spoken to me, the ....  were Endless blessings from my Father, and yours!

These two verses may be an encouragement.  When I have hard times, I find that clinging and singing to myself God’s Word daily, God changes my mind to be His!    >> And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2     23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, Ephesians 4:(20-24)  And my desires and needs change, are met, and I am blessed with His fellowship.   “Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

Since you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a faithful daughter of Him, you are already WAY ahead of everyone else!  Salvation has been Won for you by the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ!!  Keep your “heavenly minded” ways so that your feet trod lightly in His Way, and on His leading path.   Many people that you see may have a husband who fights all the time, or fancy cars/homes and guilt due to the large debt, or with children who are ruthless and rebelling, etc.  You have a Father Who loves you immeasurably and keeps His eye on You, His precious daughter!!  Spend time with Him alone in His Word Book of Love for you!  Listen to Him eagerly.  Confess your sin as Jesus reveals it to you.  Turn away from it and do things His way. And slowly but surely God will fill those holes in your heart, mind and spirit!   First god will fill you with His Love, and "coincidences" and "situations" that are the desires of your heart. Cherish those as "hugs" from your Lord God.   Grow to be more and more in Love with Jesus (Revelation 2:4).     "Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4    Care for those who you see are downcast by praying for them or giving them a word of encouragement.  That will cheer you as well, for it is God’s will, too!

I will extol the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.  Psalm 34:1    But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!"  Psalm 40:16  Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4

We will pray for the Lord Jesus to show you where He wants you to work, and how you may glorify Him in your duties.  We are praying for your health, too.  As you become more encouraged in your relationship with the Living God, your strength, vitality, and inner joy and peace should increase.  Your depression we pray will alleviate, too.  We deeply understand about desiring a human helpmate.  We will pray for that desire to be either fulfilled by God humanly or in Him alone - but for your need to be met abundantly in Christ Jesus.  We will continue to pray for your spiritual, emotional, physical and mental strength, and for your children.   “And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
