Mental health
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true,
whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about
such things.
And make sure what comes out of your mouth is of these
things too!
Be sure not to be perverse or to gossip. Check your motives. Listen to the
words out of your own mouth. Know that the Lord Jesus Christ is listening to
every word you say (give an account vs). Jesus said, “But I tell you that men
will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they
have spoken.” Matthew 12:36 (1
Peter 4:5, Romans
14:12,Hebrews
4:13)
Does that make a difference in what you say and how you say it?
God says “A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a
gossip separates close friends.” Proverbs 16:28 (Romans
1:28-32)
So how can you keep your mind, mouth, and body pure?
“By living according to Your Word.” Psalm 119:9
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin
against you.” Psalm 119:11
How do we do this daily? Some helps > (hy John 8,
righteous life, Holy Spirit life, 10 commandments, cast cares, come to me, etc.
)
Hope
1 Corinthians 2:910 However, as it is written: "No eye
has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for
those who love him" — 10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The
Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
For the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, Great Hope is found in God’s
Promises (HY) from the Bible (hy God's Word). God’s promises are facts to come
true, you can bank on them more than anything even in the most prosperous
economy because God's Word is based on a defaultable substance, the eternal
powerful sovereign omnipotent perfect God (char of God hy). Many of God’s
promises include your participation, and many do not. Read each promise
carefully with the Holy Spirit of God and seek God’s wisdom for you for each
situation you are concerned for.
Take God’s promises as fact, history yet to occur. Know, rely on,
adhere to, and trust that God does not
lie, for God is not like men (Hebrews
6:18, Numbers
23:19, 1
Samuel 15:29,), For the Lord God Almighty is the God of Truth.

Hold on to the finish, no matter how you feel, persevere. Romans
5:1-11
God says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a
longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12
To combat this make sure what you are hoping for does not become an idol
in your heart. (commandments / idolatry) Know Who God is and remind yourself
every moment of Who God is, be enamored with Him (Psalm
37:4, Psalm
45:11), Who is your very Great Reward (Genesis
15:1)
Power and control
2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every
pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive
every thought to make it obedient to Christ. – Let God’s Word be in the
power seat and take control of your thought life, words, and actions. Making
every thought, feeling, action, and word that comes at you measured with the
Word of God (make it obedient to Christ Jesus Who is the Word of God (John
1:1-3; John 1:14; John 1:18) will set you free from much abuse for your self
and for others. (John 8 HY link)
God’s To Do Box
–
Do you live life eager to see God
at work and see His Glory in and through all things? If so, that is Good. God
wants us to seek Him and His Righteousness! In fact, God promises He will reward
you for it if you do it. (Matthew
6:33, Luke
12:31, Matthew
5:1-12)
Are you preoccupied with God getting His job done? It is good to re-remind
ourselves that it is God’s job to save souls from hell, to have his Holy
Spirit hover over them and renew them to life (Genesis
1:1-3). Does that mean we are to relinquish our prayer and desires? No. We
are to do all that we can do. Most of what we can do is to live in close
relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, listening to Him and doing His Will by
His Word and Holy Spirit. When we do that, we will be urged by Jesus to pray for
a certain person or situation in specific ways, that might not even seem natural
to us. That too is good, because God is Super natural.
Yet, we also have another tool. It is God’s
TO DO BOX. If you have loved ones, persecutors, or any one or thing, that
concerns you urgently, be sure that it doesn’t become an idol in your own
heart. Idols in your own heart side track you from God’s purpose for YOUR
life. Focus most on the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word for you so that you do
not get so absorbed that another person or situation is your focus rather than
the Lord Jesus Christ. So that you do not get derailed from fulfilling what God
designed YOU to do – use God’s TO DO BOX.
God’s TO DO BOX – How does it work? Simply write a note with
your request for God TO DO on a piece of paper and put it in a box marked
“God’s TO DO BOX”. Then when you get plagued by enemy lies saying, “Oh,
God isn’t listening, God won’t do it…” you can say and know, “Yes, God
is listening and He knows the whole thing. If God does what I have asked or not,
is up to Him, but I know it is up for God TO DO.”
Then you can look in to the box and see that God is still on the
case. Maybe you’ll want a “DONE BOX” for the Lord Jesus Christ, too!
While you may not need a tangible
box, the concept is to give your concerns to God and trust Him to do His Will
His Way for His Glory alone!
Then Jesus told his disciples ,,, that they should always pray and not
give up. Luke
18:1-8
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my
ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah
55:8-9
God
says, "Be still, and know that I am God;
I
will be exalted among the nations,
I
will be exalted in the earth."

Double
Life
–
Truth – A Double Life is a
Single Life that IS A Lie.
You may be living a double life. You may be seeing yourself one way and
know that others see you in a different way. You may be doing this on purpose.
You may lie to people during your day. You may tell one person one thing,
and another person the opposite for the purpose of being liked, to not ruffle
feathers, to just play with their head.
You may want to be nice and good to some people because you feel that if
they think well of you, then God will too. You may be mean to others because you
feel that God doesn’t value them, so you don’t have to either. (hypocrite hy)
You may not realize that living a double life is manipulative (witchcraft
hy) and controlling for your own selfishness and self-centeredness, and opposes
God’s purposes. (proud arrogant, wicked proverbs hy)
You may be a church-goer, but have never been impacted to the point of
changing your foundation (sand soil, Psalm 51 truth inner) because you have
never encountered Jesus the Lord personally. (demoniacs, in their right mind.
Woman with issue of blood, magdele HY) you may feel that your externals, your
good works, actions, kindnesses and the like are who you are. (white washed
tombs, exchange law for lie of man laws…, filthy rags, God looks at heart, )
You may be in pain, turmoil, and
confusion (hy) at times which may drive you to depression because you are OUT of
God's Will. How do you know if you are out of God's Will? But measuring your
heart intent with God's Word. (hold every thought captive. Intent of the heart,
love ld with heart all, )
You may know some of your motives and not care about your reasons for
doing other things. A single, rather then double, life lives with motives that
are pure. God commands pure motives from us. No man woman or child can have pure
motives without a pure heart. No person has a pure heart that they are
physically born with. God says “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the
time my mother conceived me.” (Psalm
51:5) Only people who God has personally and specifically changed their
heart, to become His Heart, can have a pure heart.
See what God says -
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you
will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your
impurities and from all your idols. I will give
you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will
remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I
will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be
careful to keep my laws. Ezek 36
Who is the
doer in this paragraph? God says “I will” five times. God is the
One Who creates a new, clean, and pure heart. No one else can. (Hy create in me)
God repeats it - I will give them an
undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will
remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Ezekiel
11:19
How can God do this? With your
free will engaged.
Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of
God unless he is born again. "Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth,
no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. John 3:3-6
Jesus invites us to come to Him so we can be changed by Him. "Come to
me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke
upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matt
11:28-30 (HY come to me)
When we trust Jesus and His Word for our true life rather than the double
one, God makes it possible, one step at a time. (John 8, righteous, freindshp,
proises,) the power of the Holy Spirit makes it possible. (Holy Spirit believer)
Therefore, if
anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Corinthians 5:17
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of
imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23
God makes you His child – How great is the love the
Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is
what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

How can I make this transition?
How can I have God do this to me? I want a changed heart! I don’t want my
double life. I feel so ugly and depraved inside (Romans
1:18-32) (my room). I have tried
to help my self but I need Super Natural power (HY storms), God’s Power to
change me from the inside out. (Romans
1:16-17)
You can pray this to the Lord Jesus Christ -
For I know my
transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I
sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when
you speak and justified when you judge. Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful
from the time my mother conceived me. Surely you desire truth in the inner
parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place. Create in me a pure heart, O
God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:3-6,10

Sinner’s prayer HY
Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom
of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. … Yet a time is coming and
has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and
truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and
his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 3:5, John 4:23-24

Free Blessings –
What blessings are free? The smile you give. The nature that surrounds
you and proclaims the handiwork of God (Psalm
19). The intricacy of a flower, the wonder of a caterpillar changing to a
butterfly. The multitude of stars at night, the endless waves of the ocean. And
the Creator Who makes this all.
The sounds of lowing cattle, the workmanship of ants, the colors of
bird’s feathers, the softness of a cat or dog’s fur. Every sense given to us
by God is a free blessing. What we choose to do with it is our free will gift
given by God, too. (Who creates, nature, …)
When we misuse our senses, using them contrary to what is healthy and
good as God designed us to, then we become defiled and what was a pleasure to us
becomes a curse.

The Truth of God
may be known and is plain to all men. “because God has made it plain to them.
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal
power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has
been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:18-20
Jesus answered,
"I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is
born of water and the Spirit. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the
true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must
