Worth

Your Worth Is Immeasurable

        Your price is fixed.

According to God’s Word, the Bible.

You have a Soul        A Buyer wants You     The Practical Transaction

Total Worth?             There is a Catch              Beware!

That Price is too high          Banking on that Worth

You are Accountable for your soul.

You have a soul. Every person has an immortal, eternal, indestructible part of them called the soul. (Gen 2:7)  Your soul has immeasurable worth to the Lord God Almighty

God Values You, a living soul, Immeasurably. You may not value yourself very much. You may see yourself with many flaws and pains, and worse. God sees you with all that you know of yourself but with Eyes of Wisdom and Truth. God knows that your soul "sinful from the time my mother conceived" you

How do we calculate our worth? By knowing the Price of our soul.

How do we know the price of our soul? By know the price a buyer will pay for it. It is not the seller that determines the price for an item, else the product may never be sold. It is only the actually established and contracted price of exchange with a buyer that determines the value, worth, cost, price of an item.

How do we find the price? By finding a buyer who sets the price, in this case, for your soul. No doubt you might sell yourself off cheaply, someone else may even do the same. But in both cases, you would be under-valued and sold beneath your actual worth.

How do we find a buyer? A buyer has been found. And only One true buyer exists. The Buyer already shown up and purchased you. You just need to deliver yourself to the buyer. You need to make the delivery of your heart, mind, soul, body and strength to the One Who purchased you. If you don't, then no delivery is made, there is no transaction, and the change of ownership is never completed. You stay just as you are and stay forever separated from the Buyer.

What has caused the Buyer to show up and pay for me? His intrinsic Love and desire for you.

Why does the Buyer have to pay for me? Because you are not His right now, and He wants you.

Why am I not His already? Because of this - Big Picture - World Violence - Atonement.

Every person has a sinful flesh nature which desires and does bad things, due to Adam’s sinful choice in the very beginning of mankind’s history. (Psalm 51:5, Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6, Psalm 14:1-3; Psalm 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20, Psalm 5:9; Psalm 140:3; Psalm 10:7; Isaiah 59:7; Isaiah 59:8; Psalm 36:1 )    Big Picture

That incredible piece of immortality, or you, is imperishable! Your soul is indestructible!! Indestructible does not mean that it will always triumph in victory. Indestructible means that it cannot be destroyed. Your soul will live forever. That piece of you, the soul, will far outlast the life of your physical body! Your soul will live forever and ever, for eternity!! That means that you will live, alive and sensing, somewhere in a distinct and specific location forever for eternity.

Where you live for eternity is up to you. You have the choice of where you want to live and sense forever. There only two places to go. Hell or Heaven.

So what does this have to do with your worth? And why does God consider your worth Immeasurable?

            Here are the Facts!

God knows you are soiled with sin. God knows your soul is sinful.

God knows you cannot get to perfect Heaven without His powerful intervention

God decided to buy you out of slavery to sin with the price of His Son’s life blood. Your worth is the immeasurable price of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” John 8:34

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. For the wages of sin is death, Romans 6:16,20,23

Wow! Wait! That’s just too fast for me. Can you slow down? What does that all mean? And what does sin have to do with my price? (Check out the Big Picture.)

Breaking it down, God says we are worthless without His righteousness. But our soul is soooo valuable to the Lord God Almighty, that He chooses to pay for your soul’s redemption with the price of His Own Son’s life.

You just said I am worthless, so how can I be priceless? Here's how -

        God states your spiritual condition:

"Everyone is senseless and without knowledge; Jer 10:14

All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."  Psalms 14:13; 53:13; Eccles. 7:20; Rom 3:12

If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. James 1:26

God says theses words to many who try to enter Heaven by their works (Isa 64:6), through the wide road (Matt 7:13), “Throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' Matt 25:30

God states the price for getting a person out of that spiritual condition:

For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves … ; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. Lev 17:11 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Rom 6:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.   He did this to demonstrate his justice, …, so as to be just and the one who justifies (or makes right) those who have faith in Jesus. Rom 3:23-26

God states what this transaction does in the practical realm –

It takes your all of your sin away from you. John 1:29, 1 John 3:5, Isaiah 59:20,21; 27:9; Jer. 31:33,34

It puts all of your sin onto the Lord Jesus Christ, who never sinned.  “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us,” 2 Corinthians 5:21 Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 53:12, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Romans 5:6

It takes the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ righteousness and now puts it onto you. so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21  Romans 1:17, Romans 3:22, Romans 4:24, Romans 5:17, 1 Corinthians 1:30, Ephesians 4:24, Philippians 1:11,

It makes you a new creature, a true, living, breathing child of God.   Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 (New Creature) “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.” John 1:1-3; John 1:12-14; John 1:17-18  “Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:3; John 3:5-7; John 3:16-21, 1 John 3:1, 1 John 4:19

This transaction empowers you to live as a child of God.   that you may know … his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1 , Ephesians 3:16-21, Promises of God

It gives you all the rights and privileges as an heir of God, and co-heir with Christ.   Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8:17                  But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir. Gal 4:4-7 (See Righteousness)

It gives you entry into heaven.  In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-3, Matthew 25:23,         "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world."  John 17:24, 2Corinthians 5:6-8          Heaven

So what is your worth??

God has demonstrated that the death of His only begotten son (John 3:16,18) IS the price for your soul. God’s Son is your Value. When YOU CHOOSE to accept the price of Jesus’ life crucified on the cross as the total penalty for your life’s sins, then you testify that your worth IS the price of God’s only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ. What exactly is the price of this transaction? It is immeasurable!

Your life for God’s Son’s Life. It does not seem like a fair trade in our feeble eyes. But God’s mercy and grace compels us to accept His Economy for our benefit and for His purpose and glory!

Beware - There is a Catch- While we see clearly that the measure of your Worth is God's Son's death on the cross. And God has paid the price for you which is the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son. In fact, God has paid that price for every person who has ever been conceived.  - but there is a catch. If YOU do not accept that price which God paid to purchase you as His Own Child, out of His Immeasurable Love for you personally. If YOU do not agree with His judgment that you are a sinner and need His forgiveness.  If YOU do not choose to surrender to His Lordship and sovereignty, then you lose that immeasurable worth. For God declares all those without His Son’s Atonement are "worthless" Matthew 25:30.

God says that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, " Heb 9:27  Yet, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9, Isaiah 59:1.

Without repenting to God for all of your sins, your personal destiny is in perpetual and eternal tormenting in Hell.

God is fervently extending His Hand of compassion to you to save you from your life of sin and without real lasting treasure. God loves you enough to allow you to refuse His Sacrificial love for you.  God loves you enough to refuse His Son's death on the cross for you.  And God loves you enough to allow you to reject Him because you want to live without Him being in charge and not having the all-knowing, loving and powerful God nurturing and growing you as His Own Child.

If you have never thought of it this way before, please consider God's invitation to you right now.  God is knocking on your heart, knowing all about you, what you've done and where you've been.  He does not want you to try to fix yourself for Him before He comes in because he knows that there is no way you can clean yourself. You can never be clean enough for God unless you let God do the cleaning. (~My Room)

BEWARE

Your imperishable soul is your worth. You can keep it the way it has always been. Powerless against sin and inevitably going against (Psalm 51) God and His Laws. Law breakers cannot escape perfect justice. God gives perfect justice because He is Holy. There are two places for perfect justice – Hell or the Cross of Jesus

You choose your worth. The choice is 1- Your actions, words, attitudes, thoughts, etc.         Or Choice 2- God’s Son’s Atonement and consequently His Holy Spirit living in you transforming you from the inside out. Your worth by Jesus’ Righteousness.

How do I bank on God’s Worth for me?  By Asking the Lord Jesus Christ, to take your sins and give you His Righteousness, Holy Spirit and making Him your Sovereign Lord. Tell Jesus you want Him to save you from hell. Sinner’s prayer.

Forget it, I want to stay the way I am. I want to go where God says people go who do not accept His Son, to Hell.

The default location of every person is Hell. Jesus says, “whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son” John 3:16-21  Heaven is a conscious choice which requires life changes by God and you together.

God says to you - "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." John 3:16-21

Your imperishable soul is your worth. And you are accountable to God for it.

Jesus said, “But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:36-37

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13

But they will have to give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 1 Peter 4:5

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:12

Jesus said, “But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him.” Luke 12:5
